CONFERENCE AND MEMBER-JURISDICTION REVIEW · REVIEWED AUGUST 2026

What we offer ARELLO and its member jurisdictions

Home Fraud Defense is a real estate fraud education school built and run by a working licensee. The consumer material described here is free to the public and free for any agency to link to. Informal review of those public materials is also offered without charge; custom consulting is a separate professional service.

For ARELLO directly
  • 01Affiliate membership. Home Fraud Defense is an ARELLO Affiliate Member. Affiliate membership is a paid category, not endorsement or accreditation.
  • 02Fraud alerts. Short, dated write-ups of schemes as they appear, written for professionals. ARELLO may review them for member distribution at no charge.
  • 03Sessions and panels. Available for conference sessions, committee meetings, or member webinars on transaction fraud, deed fraud, and senior-targeted fraud.
  • 04Course review. Member jurisdictions may review the course on its merits. This page does not claim ARELLO certification of the course or approval outside jurisdictions that have separately granted it.
For a state agency
  • 01Consumer pages you can link to. Free public pages on fraud before, during, and after a closing. No email gate, no account, no lead capture.
  • 02Three free tools. Open to anyone. Each describes what is publicly visible or what looks wrong. None determines that anything is fraudulent.
  • 03State reporting routes. A state-by-state list of where a resident reports what.
  • 04Licensee education. A three-hour fraud course approved as distance education in Arizona, available for your jurisdiction to review.
  • 05Program & notice support. Informal public-service review of consumer notices or new reporting programs at no cost.
The Terms

What we ask of ARELLO or of any state agency

Using or linking the public resources requires no fee, data, member list, endorsement, or place on a preferred vendor list. If a jurisdiction links to a page and never speaks to us again, that is a complete outcome. Any custom consulting would be scoped separately.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO
  • No licensee referrals. Nothing we link to sends a consumer to an agent.
  • No payment in either direction for consumer contacts.
  • No claim that any agency endorses us. Affiliate membership is not an endorsement.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
  • No confirmation of anyone's identity.
  • No scanning, confirming, or validating of wire instructions.
  • No email gate, account requirement, or lead capture on the public consumer pages.
The Gap After Closing

Why this helps

The window after a closing sits outside everyone's authority. It is not a department matter and not a licensee duty, but the licensee is the one constant who knows the consumer and the closing date. We treat it as a training question.

Education can help consumers recognize that period before an unexpected contact arrives, while preserving the distinct roles of agencies, regulators, law enforcement, and licensees.
